6000 HD Special Big Box Store version May have problems with bowls and mixing attachment Beware – I just got off the phone with Kitchen Aid. This is a special unit designed BY COSTCO.. they let COSTCO design the unit. It uses a DC motor so they can say 1 HP on the BOX, it uses 350 watt of power.. and she claimed it had the same performance as a 575 watt AC Motor.
Deceived but turned out to be a good mixer We just got this as a special Christmas deal. The price was amazing. After purchasing, I typed in the model number to find accessories and found that it was not a pro 600 but rather the HD 6000 that was once sold at Costco. The only accessory I could find was the ice cream maker. There are no shields or flexible edged paddles available yet. I do not know if there will be. Of course all of the attachments, like grinders and slicers, will work so that is good enough for me. We have not…
Questionable certification process This review is for the “certified” refurbished lift stand mixer. Actually, that should be “mixers”, plural. I ended up getting two of these, but will not be keeping either of them.
