Simple and Efficient Since I received this steam cooker, I used it quite often. Although many new steam cookers have clear racks, my older steam pot is not. All around I am very happy indeed! This style is rare because it has a drip pan under the bottom basket to catch the broth. Well this steamer heats quickly, cooks everything evenly, and has plenty of room. I was able to perfectly cook 10 ears (broken in half) of fresh corn on the cob in 15 minutes. It cleans up in a snap, unlike my old steamer which was a pain to clean. And the steamer tray has indentations so eggs can be cooked as well. All around I am very happy indeed!
