Warped Unfortunately mine arrived warped. The warming portion would not go in all the way, same with the grease catcher.I did donate it to our local clothing closet. They sometimes have hot food, and they don’t need the warming tray part.So, it does work, but the whole point of me buying it, was for the warming compartment, so I can keep, like the bacon warm while I madepancakes or French toast, etc.Amazon said they’d reimburse me. Never did.
Disappointed The aluminum is thinner than in my old griddle; this one heats up faster but the heat distribution is not uniform, To get any kind of uniformity you can only cook 3-4 pancakes at a time placed down the middle of the heating surface (between the heating element) even then, the middle of the pancakes are lighter in color (because the center is farthest away from the heating element). For some reason the griddle is “not submergible” so cleaning between the griddle and the plastic heat…
Don’t hate it because it can multi-task I love this appliance. I bought it for my daughter. She has two boys and she can prepare their meal all at one time and keep it warm until they come down to eat. It is easy to use so the oldest boy can use it without fear of setting the house ablaze. I am planning on buying one of these for everyone in my family. There are so many things you can use this grill for and the size can hold several steaks or chops.
