This surge protector was only 4 months old when it … This surge protector was only 4 months old when it failed our year old tv. Within minutes of the power surge I smelled a smell of burning electrical wires and realized it was coming from our tv. The tv was no longer operable along with our sound bar. I jumped through the extensive hoops set out by Tripp Lite and had to spend $12 to send my surge protector to them for testing. Surprise! They tested the surge protector and said they would not honor their warranty because the surge protector…

Work Great! These things work! Had a power surge or somesort. Anything not on these was toast. Anything plugged into these is fully operational.

This started on fire. We got it in April … This started on fire. We got it in April and it is now December 12th. The surge protector didn’t work and it just slowly kept burning until we could figure out where the smell was coming from. My family and home were at risk because of it’s failure to work.
