Great unit, minor design flaw. Not sure what others are taking about regarding discrepancy in temperature reading. After startup and waiting an hour, mine synced perfectly.Only 4 stars given due to design flaw. I plan to wall mount mine, and there is no way to check min/max temps without accessing the button on the back of the unit. Who wants to take it off the wall each time to check? Not me. Otherwise great.
Remote unit failed in cold foggy weather I originally rated this as unacceptable. It still has what I believe is a design flaw, at least for us here. It worked for about a week and then the remote stopped working for no reason at all, or so I thought. Low range The display is clear and have all the info but the range is really short. I live in a 1100 sq. ft. apartment and I’ve installed the sensor near my front door. The display unit was just 9 feet away from it and the connection dropped several times. Tried other channels, no success.
