Square Trade, it not for me Not impressed with square trade, it took me 8 months to get a pay out of $34.00, and talked with many, reps of square trade, just not worth the trouble for me, I rather just purchase another item if one goes bad, this was very sad. I had over 12 warranties with them and they didn’t seem to care, they’ve gotten to big and don’t care anymore.
Satisfied by other means. Claim denied. I rate this one star because they said I had a warranty recourse – see the manufacturer. However, the product manual says it was 30 days ( I was already close to 60 days out). They referred me to manufacturer while denying my claim. Not sure how they arrived at this other warranty period. I did see below the product description that there was a 90 day warranty. But, no information was provided directly about this. Add unnecessary hassle for you to get replacement for defect product I bought this protection plan when I purchased Zojirushi rice cook from Amazon in March. Within 3 months, the rice cook stopped working. When I called Amazon, they could send me a new one as a replacement. However, because I purchase this protect plan, I have to claim the warranty from Squaretrade. When I sent in the claim, Squaretrade asked me to contact manufacture directly, which only works weekdays from 9-5pm. This is really adding unnecessary barriers for me to get a working product…
