waste of money and dangerous We have a rice-and-beans household so making rice on the daily is important but I didn’t want to get a rice maker and add another appliance to the counter. This cooks rice just as quickly and efficiently as a rice maker and is much easier to clean. I cook brown rice and can easily throw in spices or veggies to cook in it. It’s big enough for family dinners but can just as easily work in a bachelor pad. Glad I made the switch and freed up some counter space.
not just a Rice Cooker but so much MORE you can do This is really mis named… It does rice, polenta, quinoa, brown rice . etc.. but that is just the MINOR things it can do.. Just look at it as a Microwave Multi-cooker…
Quick and easy I’m not a cook. I don’t plan out my meals days in advance or even hours in advance. My kids are hungry, I look in the fridge and make them something quick and easy before they get too irritable. I have a rice cooker, but never use it because it takes too long and I don’t enjoy the clean up. For rice, I’ve been using the Trader Joe’s precooked rice that takes 3 minutes in the microwave. Now, that’s quick and easy. The problem is that the packets aren’t enough. The Sistema rice steamer is…
