Avoid these for lava lamps; bulb is not hot enough and burned out completely in under one month I bought this for a lava lamp that required a 120v 15w bulb. This bulb was not hot enough to melt any of the wax inside the lamp and the bulb burned out completely in less than a month. If you’re looking for a lava lamp bulb I would advise against buying this one. These are probably better suited for other small appliances but buyer beware since mine burned out so quickly. Packaging appeared authentic and it was shipped and sold from Amazon.
