Enjoy milkshakes, soda fountain drinks, health drinks and more at home with this two speed DrinkMaster Drink Mixer from Hamilton Beach . It features a 28 oz. stainless steel mixing cup, tiltable mixing head and easy to cleandetachable spindle.Drop a dime into the jukebox, press F2 for Fats Domino’s “Blueberry Hill,” and dreamily drift back to the ’50s, when bobbysoxers and guys with ducktails or wearing white bucks (never, ever both) idled away after-school hours at the local drugstore’s soda fountain sipping chocolate malts that had been churned to a smooth, frothy consistency by a mixer exactly like this one. Hamilton Beach’s drink mixers began appearing at soda fountains in 1911; this 14-1/2-inch-high, 70-watt model, in white, recalls Elvis’s first decade. But it’s 21st-century, too, blending fruit smoothies and health drinks as well as milk shakes and malted milks. Also use it to mix puddings and beat eggs for omelets. Two speeds offer mixing flexibility, and the tilting head makes it easy to remove the spindle for cleaning. Its professional-style, stainless-steel cup holds 28 ounces and is dishwasher-safe. –Fred Brack

Great-and with super memories! From a 70 yr old..It is just surprising the number of individuals who complain about problems with this item. It won’t do ice cubes, it won’t do chunk fruit, it tips, it overflows..etc! Doesn’t anyone “read instructions”? Nitwits… This mixer does what is says it does!! And works great! READ>>> Directions!! There is a limit to put in or it will overflow… Crushed ice not cubes… diced/crushed fruit not solid/frozen chunks. This is NOT a blender and won’t blend..it is a mixer and…
It looks cool and we were excited to make milkshakes I rarely review anything on here… I got this for my family night with my kids and it is a piece of junk. It looks cool and we were excited to make milkshakes, but this thing can barely mix the ice cream in with the milk, let alone any additional items like in the recipe book that comes with it. It takes so long to even begin to mix ingredients that the motor is hot to the touch. The spindle doesn’t come close to the bottom of the supplied mixing cup and the blades on the plastic spindle end…
Great malt and shake maker, very high quality for the money, does smoothies too. I have two more similar to this and this one is by far the best, the lean back feature is extra nice for removal and the blending action is great. I make really great chocolate malted milks out of this and they are the equal of the Sycamore shop in Logansport, IN, that was my great malt standard. Plus it takes only three scoops of an inexpensive vanilla ice cream, a couple squirts of Hershey’s syrup, a cup of whole milk, and a tablespoon of malt to make a decent size malted milk for about a…
