Germ Guardian creating formaldehyde?! I’m afraid this product is breaking down mold spores into aldehydes, like formaldehyde.
Great product! Great for small areas. I recently move our cats litter boxes into a closet since we couldn’t stand the odor. I have an electrical outlet in the closet since it’s an old home. I have a cat door leading into the closet and with this unit the smell has been cut by 95%. The fan makes a slight noise but with the door closed we can’t hear it at all.
This contraption works This little contraption works. My dog room no longer smells of dog. It is amazing that something that size can freshen an entire room. The fan is quiet for what it has to do. The only issue I have is that it seems top heavy and loose when plugged into the outlet. I will add a velcro like square to the back and outlet cover to be sure it doesn’t fall. Just a precaution, not sure it is needed.
