George Foreman GGR50B Indoor/Outdoor Grill

Easily converts from outdoor to indoor use. 240 sq. in. cooking surface. 1 removable grill plate. Center channel drains fat into large grease tray. Double nonstick coated plates. Dome round lid with adjustable steam vent. Adjustable temperature control. Cool touch handles. 1600W. Stand is included. 20″ x 12″ x 21″. Black.Grilling really can’t get much easier than this. After assembling the grill (which takes only a few minutes), simply plug it in and allow about 10 minutes to fully preheat the surface while you gather your steaks, kebabs, or whatever’s to be grilled. The electric heat has an adjustable range from low (for keeping food warm) to high (for searing steaks). The nonstick grill surface not only means you can use a minimum of added fat, but it also makes cleanup a cinch. The surface has a subtle slope, with channels that draw accumulated fat or other liquids into a tray just below the surface. The high domed and vented lid helps create a circular flow of hot air to ensure even cooking–particularly important for a large roast or whole chicken.

The grill can be placed either directly on a tabletop or atop its pedestal. On its own, the grill surface stands about 6 inches high; with the pedestal, it stands about 2-1/2 feet high, not counting the domed lid. The pedestal is plenty sturdy for cooking, but the grill still seems a bit top-heavy, so pay special attention if grilling in a high-traffic area or near kids. Because of the easy electric heat, this grill can be used outdoors or indoors–when using it indoors, though, be prepared for potential spattering, steam, or other side effects of cooking. –Cynthia Nims

  1. BUY it! You won’t be sorry. YES get it! I love mine!! I just got it in today and did a batch of 8 Oklahoma onion burgers and had room to spare!! I started off at turning the dial to “5” and that charred one side of the burgers so then turned it down to 3 and a half. So 3.5 to 4 is a good number to turn the temperature dial to. Which maybe instructions would say that… I didn’t look any up online and the only ones it comes with are on how to put it together which took a whole 5 minutes at most. It’s very easy to…

  2. best indoor grill This grill is amazing I love it, the cooking isn’t totally even the side closer to the plug is hotter but that doesn’t bother me I use that side for meats and the other for veggies or as a warmer I don’t think it doesn’t get as hot I think it just takes longer but it’s so convenient for our apt. I also love that I can hang the lid on the side. The cord is a bit short but not a huge problem.

  3. BUY THIS ITEM!! This grill is great. The removable plate and drip pan make cleaning every easy. It doesn’t give food that grill taste, that because it’s electric not propane or charcoal. The meals you can make are endless. I’ve done steak, pork chops, chicken, sandwiches, garlic bread and even French toast. I recommend getting the 3 pack of Foreman grill sponges it speeds up the cleaning process. Overall happy with product and would recommend it to anyone.
