Worth the premium price The flow rate on this filter (0.8gpm) is so much better than the generic replacement I had bought while trying to save money (0.5gpm,) that it’s easily worth the premium price (and this Amazon price is better than I found anywhere else.) Best UKF8001 Replacement, By Far The OEM filters are pricey, but to me they’re worth every penny. I have looked all around for any other alternative that is rated as highly as these for contaminant reduction and there are none. I cannot find a single filter that replaces UKF8001 that is both NSF/ANSI 42 and NSF/ANSI 53, let alone NSF/ANSI 401 as well!
