Not the easiest setup but good information available and solid product I ordered these through the e-IT Store (seller at the time of my purchase). I contacted them regarding a couple bad reviews claiming they couldn’t license the product. The seller told me that Sonicwall had actually been the cause of the problem due to some product being made under the Sonicwall name and some under the Dell name. Good firewall bad unit. Not licensed for usage in the United States. This is not licensed for usage in the U.S. and fails to disclose that in the listing. It works for passing traffic but several key features (like the VPN) are not usable because of licensing. Just buy it straight from Dell.
Works nicely but no tech support I’ve installed a lot of routers and the Sonic Wall is certainly less complicated to set up than a Cisco but more complicated than something directed at say residential uses. That is to be expected, the more capable the product the more there is to configure. I had an issue that ended up being the ISP but I sent an email to SonicWall support and didn’t receive a response for days.
