  1. Large capacity Bought this for my son for college. Seems to work well but the light does not work when it is on. Between that and there not being an automatic shut off, I hope the RA’s don’t take it from him. Would exchange it but he goes to school in a couple days. My one issue, and time will tell, is whether the rubber gasket around the heating element holds up. That seems to be the weak spot in these things. It did heat up and boil water really fast. Good for those Ramen meals!

  2. Great little hot pot Great hot pot for pasta, heating up water for drinks, and hard boiled eggs. I did cook tomato sauce in it for the pasta, but it got under the rubber ring around the heating plate on the bottom and I didn’t realize it til I went to cook pasta again and burnt remnants of the tomato sauce came up from under the rubber ring. So not the best for soups and sauces, but it’s a sturdy little pot that boils water fast.

  3. love it for my dorm! seriously my new bff. the only thing i hate is that at the bottom, like food gets stuck and i can’t get it out so i have to boil water after i wash it so it can be COMPLETELY clean.
