  1. TO1380SS toaster oven pretty good for a compact I was looking for a 4-slice, compact toaster oven that would replace our venerable B&D TRO series ovens — compact analog ovens discontinued about 5 years ago. This one seemed to fit the bill. After nearly three months of living with it, here are my impressions.

  2. Great item. Full manual control and indicators are the features here. AND no “annoying” “ticking” or “Bell”! It’s digital. Great new oven. It replaced one of the original B&D’s. I really like this one, so far. For some reason I thought it would be larger than the old one, but it fits into my original spot which pleasantly surprised me. There is more space inside the oven, including depth, than the old though, which is great. (don’t know how that happens with same outside dimensions)

  3. good toaster oven, odd programming A good little unit to replace my old one. I’d give it 5 stars if it weren’t for the idiosyncratic programming. To bake something for 15 minutes, you must put in the time & temperature BEFORE turning it on. Then the baking time flashes to indicate that it hasn’t reached the desired temperature. When it does, it gives a tiny little beep (just one) to indicate that it’s time to put the food in because it has immediately started counting down the 15 minutes for baking. What if you’re elsewhere…
