BLACK+DECKER GD2011B Family Size Griddle, Black

Breakfast is a snap with the large non-stick cooking surface, with temperatures variable from warm to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. When it’s time to clean-up the immersible griddle, the grease has been channeled into the removable, dishwasher safe grease cup.

  1. Offers large cooking area but The Black & Decker Family Size Griddle has a decent size cooking area big enough to feed my family of five. The non-stick cooking surface is great for making sunny-side over eggs without worrying about them sticking. The surface is large enough to make 8 large french toast side-by-side, and of course big enough for a slab of bacon and sausage.

  2. I’ll just have to continue my search for the perfect griddle. Surface doesn’t heat evenly and the temperature dial is stiff. Temp settings seem to a little off too. Pancakes came out with stripes. Only positive note is that it was inexpensive ($20), but still going to return it. I’ll just have to continue my search for the perfect griddle.

  3. Solidly functional and easy to clean. This is a low-end griddle with minimal features, but it seems to be made reasonably well. When I got it, it was listed for $30, which seemed like a good price. But at the current price of $46, I would expect a few more features than it has. I would give the griddle four stars (“I like it”), but I deducted one (making it “It’s OK”) for the bad customer service and the unknown electrocution factor (more on that later). (Note: There is an update to this story at the bottom of the review.)…
