To recover as much money from the Noe assets as possible, the state turned to a corporate restructuring firm with a large Columbus office. The company's head, Bill Brandt, said it took about five years to slowly sell off the coins, Beanie Babies, real estate and historical collectibles that Noe had invested on the state's behalf.
